A football shirt dress with lace panels and suspender clips, because we wanted to take sportswear somewhere it’s never been.
The Pitch Please takes the oversized football jersey and reimagines it as a dress. An all-over sublimation print covers the body in a bright blue colourway, with "PITCH PLEASE FC" branding, a number 3 graphic, and a web-like geometric pattern that nods to sports kit design without actually looking like one.
White lace panels run down each sleeve, clashing soft, feminine detailing against the hard lines of the athletic silhouette. It shouldn’t work together. It does.
Suspender clips hang from the hem, adding a functional detail that shifts the whole mood. Wear them attached to thigh-highs, or let them hang loose as hardware. Either way, they give the piece an edge that takes it well beyond the pitch.
V-neck collar, long sleeves, oversized fit. It works as a dress on its own or layered over something tighter underneath.
Yes, we did attempt to be mischevious by putting 'pitch please' instead of 'bitch please' because we thought it was humurous.. well it was at the time, and still is tbh.
